The simplest nslookup program with the intuitive GUI interface that provides all needed basic functions:
  • getting resource records from chosen name server, from default network name server or finding the authoritative responsible name server and getting them from there;
  • asking by the query-type pseudonyms or by numerical decimal equivalents (i.e. all possible query-types);
  • showing resource records as the standard DNS script;
  • keeping logs;
  • checking GetXbyY functions from socket database.

It is small (47.5KB) Win32-program (written on Borland Delphi 4.0) that runs on Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000 and don't need any additional libraries.

BTW, You are welcome to try it with our own DNS server -

Special thanks to François Piette for his wonderful nslookup source from where I started to learn the DNS programming.
